I love that park in Cronulla where they have free bands. (Heh. I've seen free music two days in a row - last night it was Fyreflyes at the Lansdown). I've seen some good stuff and bad stuff there (Skulker & Good Charlotte respectively).
PUNKER: You have to get one of those CD playing alarm clocks. I got one off Ebay and I love it. Nothing like being forced awake by good music then relaxing and enjoying it. I plan on burning that Eddie Van Halen solo from "Back to the Future" as an opening track (you know that scene where Marty as Darth Vader from the planet Vulcan wakes up his future dad and gives him a mission).
I thought the set today was tighter than I've seen for awhile - all that time with Incubus must have paid off nicely. I just wished it was louder. "Wendy" didn't quite sound right.

A CD playing alarm clock? I'd prefer to not place any of my CD's in danger of being strewn across my bedroom floor thank you very much! Good idea for those who are morning people... Oh and thanks for coming on Sat, I didnt get to speak to you very much as I was sick and my head was having trouble coping with being alive.... 5 litres of beer the night before had something to do with it.

[glow=green,4,500]I used to have my alarm clock turned on as loud as it would possibly go and on the worst radio station. It still didn't wake me sometimes..... [/glow]

[glow=red,2,700]Once I went to sleep for 20 mins and somehow thought my alarm went off. I turned it off (even though it was already off) and continued to get ready for work. I drove to work and realised there were hardly any cars there. Then I checked the clock and realised I was a tad bit early. [/glow]

Oh and thanks for coming on Sat, I didnt get to speak to you very much as I was sick and my head was having trouble coping with being alive.... No problemo! I went straight home after the show because I really needed some sleep. I probably should have slept on the grass and watched One Dollar Short. The only times I have been to work early (that I can remember) are when there is something juicy on Ebay and I want to put a bid in at exactly 1 minute to go.

something that helps for me is setting so many alarms that they just piss you off so much that you have to get up and turn them off....especially those ones on the nokia phones, damn annoying, and just conveniently get louder the more you ignore it! arghh....mmmmm, sleep is good......toodles!

In one of his "Life Is Hell" comics, Matt Groening (creator of the Simpsons and Futurama) recommends someone else's advice: having lots of alarm clocks just out of arm's reach.

[glow=blue,5,000]My alarm clock has a really bright blue light that is so annoying. I'm going to try and pull off an all nighter tonight, so I won't need my alarm. [/glow]
