Some of you may already know this, but what the hey. A Perfect Circle aren't coming for Big Day Out I've heard three possible reasons: 1) one of the members OD'd (James Iha or Jeordie?...a possibility) 2) one of the members is facing a sexual assualt charge (Maynard?....man i hope not) 3) They didn't like their onstage or set times? (possibility also) Whatever, I thought they were one of, if not the, best bands on the bill. This sucks!

I like one of their songs on heard on the radio, dont really know much else to say that Im troubled over it.
All I can say is the lineup for the BDO in my eyes is fkn sht and they need some good bands to come otherwise theres trouble.
Also the BDO is on a friday!!!!

At this stage, I think I'll only be going to Sydney BDO and just for The Dandy Warhols.
I'm skipping Homebake this year.
There's heaps of other good stuff on soon anyways. Neil Young is coming to Australia for the first time in 19 years and he's bringing the Horse. I''ll be going to the Sydney (2 nights before my b-day) & Melbourne (night before my b-day) shows for that. Meat Loaf is coming. Tickets go on sale next week so I wish I had some hours coming from my market research interviewing job...
I'll be missing Skulker at Harbord for Neil but it's easily worth it.
Someone once hung sh*t on me for choosing to see Foo Fighters over Skulker at Sydney BDO this year when I was seeing FF 4 times (2 BDOs, 2 sideshows).
I really didn't see their logic because it's easier to see Skulker 20 times this year than FF more than once this year without leaving the country.

Perfect circle was the only reason i was maybe going to go, the only other bands i'd want to see would be mars volta and butterfly effect, i'll wait for their own shows...

APC piss on the strokes from a very great height.....well, unless honesty, originality, dynamics and musicianship aren't you're cup of tea of course.
