I have been listening to the new Veruca Salt album... at first I didn't like it much (compared with the old stuff), but the more I listen to it, its really growing on me. Gee Louise sounds like an angry upset girl! I am seeing them soon... YAY! (wish Nina was back though)

I agree totally with your Veruca Salt comments. It took me a while to get into Resolver as well, but now I really love it - although nothing compares to Eight Arms to Hold You (my fave album of all time).
I have my tickets to see them as well - also looking forward to seeing my chums Spencer Tracey too (supporting). They are great. I am sure Skulker will also put on a good show.

A thingyhead? Not an expert, just an observer! My name is derived from the unknown, that is where it comes from...

Resolver is slowly growing on me. I think my favorite track is "Only You Know". Been having a look and comparing their old stuff I like and who it was written by. Sadly most of the songs I like were done by Nina Who knows what they might play at the Metro? My dream song for the night would be Volcano Girls but I know it will never happen.

Yeah. I agree. I liked Nina's stuff alot more than Louise's but Louise still has some beauty's. I actually read an interview with Nina saying that Louise was playing some of the songs that Nina had written. Its a bit rude, but might be good for us to hear some of the old stuff.
All the Modular chicks are going now. I can't wait. Might see you there Colin!

Why did Nina leave? Was did she jump or was she pushed or it is a matter of perspective?
