Im going to tell you about my weekend because of boredom, tell me yours Ok so friday night I had one beer at Bondi Hotel and went home with sam....went to sleep. Saturday, got up about 11am and walked down to Bondi, had oportos, jumped on a bus to the Rocks. Walked around the rocks at the markets, around to the operah house and so on....walked up to Utopia then went across the road to the century hotel and had a beer. I didnt finish my beer because the glass was dirty. Caught a bus back to Bondi. Walking from the bustop to my place and twisted my right ankle on the side of the footpath, fell over and injured my left knee. Its really swollen and sore with a big cut....My fav jeans were ripped in the process. I'll still wear them.... Started drinking the cask wine, got fairly pissed and we started watching Rage as Fat Mike and Erin were programming.....being silly and drunk, boobs chased me into the bedroom, I jumped on my bed and my bum just touched the window and the entire window smashed. I nearly fell 2 stories to my death. After we cleaned that up, we had an argument, I drove drunk and bought a packed of ciggys with my no money and could have killed people and myself again... Got home, tried to play the bass. Put an emphasis on TRIED... Woke up fully clothed on Sunday and cold due to no window. Drove to East Hills to pick up some money to repair the window, called the glass people and no one was available until today...drove home again and put plastic bags over the window. Started cleaning my apartment as my flatmate moved out and I am going to do the biggest spring clean ever. Had a shower, my knee stung and watched Raiders of the Lost Arc.... Slept

My weekend:
Friday: - saw Laura Imbruglia at Markets By Moonlight at the Rocks - dressed for Skulker's Halloween gig - I put on my best suit, a skull mask and carried a plastic axe - I was going as a Corporate Grim Reaper - did some pining
Saturday: - slept in really late and did nothing during the day except play UFO: Aftermath - didn't eat enough carbohydrates - hung out with friends at the Hoey and saw Sophie spill her beer again - went on a non-UN related fact finding mission and failed - bought a kebab from one of my old haunts - did some pining - ripped a bunch of my new CDs to put onto my MD player in preparation for Sunday and ended up staying up until 3:40 am!!!
Sunday - woike up at 7 am and did the 52 km version of the Sydney to Gong bike ride. Finished it in around 5 hours including lunch break. I still can't believe that I felt really good after it and don't feel like I injured something. Hell, I feel more tired after going to the gym after work than after that ride. The hills in the National Park will still awful. - Had a pizza and watched "What Women Want". - Decided to change my nickname on this messageboard.

Lucky you didn't fall out of the window Lyndal... There was a Metallica documentary on foxtel yesterday....
... So many parallels with Modular Lounge: The excessive drinking; both bands have 4 members etc etc.
I'm not saying that the two bands are indentical. There are a couple of fundamental differences. One is that Metallica aren't all-female, another is that none of the Modular Lounge members have walked into a 25-foot high pyrotechnic wall of flame and survived.
Lyndal, you came close to being another parallel on Saturday. Had you fallen out the window and died both bands would've had a dead 24-year old bass player. I'm of course assuming you're 24.

Both bands have names that start with M and have a lowercase l and e in them.

Not 24? That was the only cohesive part of my story. OK let's say early-to-mid-twenties.

If she is younger than 24, there is still time for her to try again.
If she is older than 24, she can try again at the age 42 which is close enough in numerology terms, I'm sure.

You're right, if she's under 24 she can definitely try again. This time though she can try a little harder and make sure she's on a tour bus that spins outta control. To make it more authentic she would need to demand Greer's bunk.

Well we can wait for a repeat performance next year. Well seeing I slept through my only class on Thursday, my weekend began there seeing i have Fridays off. Thursday: - Sister came down from Newcastle on her way to Canberra, was orignally gonna come to the gig that night but decided to do the trip in one day. Went into the city with her. - Went to Candy's Apartment to see the I [love] Space, The Modge and The Monsters. ( Can you believe the Monsters drummer is only 14 she was great) - Did a scary walk back to the city down Williams st. Not something I am going to do by myself again. Friday - Went into the city to buy a last minute birthday present for some friends (twins) - Went to twins birthday lunch - Picked up my friend Ash from Central, she had travelled from Orange for the gig that night - Went to see Skulker at the Annandale. Got an onstage mention after I found out what the next song was gonna be and started drooling. Saturday - Went to the city in the morning with Ash . Went to Utopia and Red Eye. I had no money so just looked around and added CDs to my "CDs to buy" list. - Went to Jak(from the Whitlams) girlfriend's birthday party a bit too early, no one else was there so then went to Fur Patrol first - Went back to party which was pretty small, sadly only got one free beer since I was driving Sunday - Got woken up at 12:10 by a phone call from my friend Amy I could give another friend a ride to a birthday lunch I was suppose to go to and pick Amy up at 12:15. Told her I would be there in 10, did it in 15. (Great being a guy, quick shower, deoderant and clean clothes) - Had nice seafood lunch - Headed down to the Rocks to look after my 5 year old cousin in my uncle and aunt's hotel room as they went to see the Rugby There needs to be 2 weekends a week.
