Well done...
Looks like Modular Lounge has got to #39 on the mp3.com.au pop & rock charts. Fabio is at #49 and Martin Place is at #80.
Is it easy to cheat on these charts? ie can you download your own track 100 times at work and go straight to #1?

if only it was that easy! the site actually logs your ip when you download the track once so any multiple downloads don't get registered with the statistics

hmmm... i think my internet connection at home has a different ip address each time i login... hmmm ...
... can't do that though, it's cheating, and everybody knows that cheating never gets you anywhere.

I'm looking forward to busting my students copying assignments off each other.
I can't believe these kids don't even have the courtesy to rename variables or anything to put me off their scent.

I remember when i was at uni...
...Cheating was the done thing. It was either through people writing individual assignments together and changing the wording or by getting hold of assessments from prior years from older students. I never did it because i don't mind learning stuff. I generally got lower marks than the cheaters but i'm happy 'cause i earned them.
Actually, maybe i didn't earn them -- i can't actually remember doing any work. I didn't cheat though.

can't you disconnect from cable? What happens if you turn the computer off?
I have adsl, which can be connected and disconnected similar to the old dial-up, but without the call costs.

I remember when i was at uni... I cheated once. I had to write an assembly program. Some of kids I busted only bothered to change the name on the assignment and about 4 of them had the same assignment!

Well, yeah.
I wonder how their Academic Misconduct hearings went...
I heard that a student had threatened to commit suicide because he thought it had ruined/would ruin his career. It was one of the subjects that I had done marking in but not busted anyone in.

If I ever make it to uni, I'll be sure to inform you all of my cheating endevours. One of the things I hope to learn is how to spell, but I'm not too optomistic.

It's really really bad when people copy each other's work including the spelling mistakes.
Remember people, run a spell check- if you are a UNIX/Linux geek, there's free spell checkers such as ispell. ;D
