[glow=red,2,300]Dear All, the 2nd BDO announcement was made today and I have made the decision that I will NOT be attending.......I hope you all have fun without me but Im going to go to Homebake instead and save my funds for something else.....Maybe the Lagwagon and Pennywise gigs.....

Damn it! I found out on Friday night's Skulker gig that they'd be opening the main stage at BDO. If it weren't for that, I probably wouldn't go to this year's.
Let's face it: with the same amount of money, you can go to a couple of killer sideshows.

Hmmm, would it not be for the carpal tunnel syndrome, distorted atmosphere and usual shenanigans I associate with the BDO I would not be saddened to think that I am not attending this years BDO... In fact, nothing has caught my attention as of yet... Wondering if it will...

I like the Muse too they are very talented and I'll prob regret it but meh, im not paying $100 to see a band I barely know

Wow! Everyone is talking about Muse! I'm not particularly interested in finding new music at the moment since I bought enough CDs to last well into next year a few weeks ago. Here's a list of some of the bands I barely knew but went to see: Regretted it: - Teenage Fan Club - Beth Orton - she's talented but not my thang - PJ Harvery - same as above It was good: - Black Rebel Motorcycle Club last year - it was a date. (  I wish) Will never forget it: - Chicks on Speed - Yo La Tengo (only had one of their CD at the time) - Wilco... well I actually got into well after the gig when I bought their CD |
